I'm not sure who here has seen Piper's bed. It was my sisters' old full sized canopy bed from almost 40 years ago. It was white-washed wood with gold trim. Wel last year I painstakingly sanded, primed and painted it. Bob has a much steadier hand so he took the pink paint that is on her walls and trimmed out all of the details. It is beautiful, if I do say so myself. Do you think the kid wants to sleep in it? Heck no. There are many nights where we go up and find her sleeping on the floor. This particular night I asked her what happened and she said that she got cold on the floor so she crawled under her throw rug. My child is a freak!

Kids are totally insane. Corinne doesn't have a gorgeous bed like Piper but she does got through stages of sleeping on the floor. She usually will start out on her bean bag but rolls off will be on the carpet...always in her doorway.
Piper looks amazingly cozy.

Awww! I used to sleep on the floor as a kid all the time and I turned out completely normal...um, well, almost. :p
