Today I watched my neighbor's kids. They were all great and got along and I got a lot of stuff done around the house. Afterwards I took the girls to swimming lessons and on the way home Paige says "I have a bead stuck up my nose." I had her repeat it a few times because I couldn't believe what she was telling me. I asked her when she stuck it up there and she said when they were all playing PS2. That was 4 hours prior! I had to run some errands so I bought some tweezers to see if I could get it out. I kept thinking, would I be a bad mother if I stopped at the post office before heading to the Dr.'s office if the tweezers didn't work? I really needed to go to the post office. Luckily I was able to get that damned glittery bead out.
The kicker was when I told her that she can't put things in her nose her response was, "Well Piper put mac and cheese up her nose." I said yes when she was a baby! I didn't realize four year olds still did things like that. I guess this was better than when Bob caught her trying to stick her drumstick in the one exposed outlet in our house the other day. This kid is going kill me if she doesn't kill herself first with her crazy curiosities and lack of grace.

I can't imagine what small child is ever thinking when they come up with the idea to try it. When Corinne was 3 or 4 she got the corner of a fruit snack wrapper stuck way up there. I couldn't get it so I had to pay $1oo something for an ENT to use his big tweezers. I'm glad you were able to save the day.
LOL - I'm sorry your story made me laugh! One day you will too!
I'm glad you were able to get it out on your own and didn't have to pay the doctor a visit!!!
Kyra was about that age when she stuck a corn kernal up there. I don't think she was quite 4, but close. Luckily she was able to "blow" it out - but it was quite the trauma. Lesson learned though. :)
