Merry Christmas

Just wanted to wish all of our friends and family a very Merry Christmas. It is almost 2 am, Santa has come and everything is quiet for a few more hours. The girls are so excited, and I'll admit I am too. They are both at such a great age for this. They were so into getting the Santa and reindeer treats ready. Bob and I were loving every minute of it.

Hope everyone has a great day!

Halloween Anyone????

We broke free from the Disney Princesses this year! Paige decided to be Dorothy or "Dorfy Gale" as she calls it and Piper wanted to be Supergirl. They had such a great time trick-or-treating. The weather was perfect here and they went to every house in the neighborhood. I wimped out after a while, but Daddy and Papa soldiered on.

Halloween is also Papa's birthday so here is the traditional blowing-out-the-candles picture :0)

Yes, Paige Had a First Day of School Too...

Let's take a little trip down memory lane shall we to a nice September day. September 10th to be exact. This was Paige's first day of school. She is in her second year of preschool and she just loves it. She is in the Kangaroo Kids class, which is an afternoon class so she will be in school the same time as Piper.

Now the September 10th me is jumping for joy because this means I will have 3 whole afternoons to myself. The December 14th me knows that I barely have time for anything!

One cute thing about Paige's first day was that she packed her backpack and I noticed this long, white thing sticking out. I asked her why she had packed the backscratcher for school. She looks me quite seriously in the face and said "In case my back gets itchy." Of course, why didn't I think of that. I assured her that if, in fact, her back got itchy that I would be there to scratch it since I was staying the first day. She was satisfied with that response and the backscratcher stayed home. And for the record, her back didn't itch once.
